Terms of Use

This is a translation, provided so the terms can be read in English. The Portuguese version prevails in the event of any discrepancy.

These terms say what this site is, who it is addressed to, and what you may do with what is published here. They are short because the site is simple: a product catalogue and a form for requesting information. There is no user account, no shopping basket and no payments.

Who publishes this site

This site is published by Iberpolymers, Lda, a private limited company with Portuguese tax number 514150491 and its registered office at Rua Diogo Cão, 4, 2560-383 Torres Vedras. The remaining registry identifiers appear in the footer of every page.

BUILDPOR™ is a trademark of Iberpolymers, Lda, registered in Portugal with the National Institute of Industrial Property. The registration is national, which is why the registered-trademark symbol appears only in the Portuguese version of this site.

Who it is addressed to

This site is addressed to construction professionals and companies. The products shown here are site equipment, and Iberpolymers, Lda sells them as part of its wholesale business, to other companies — not to consumers.

An enquiry submitted through the form is handled as a business-to-business commercial contact. No sales to consumers are made through this site or through the contact details shown here, and for that reason the site does not provide the complaint and alternative-dispute-resolution channels prescribed for consumer relationships.

Content, trademarks and images

The text, photographs, drawings, datasheets and graphic presentation of this site are the property of Iberpolymers, Lda or are used by it with permission. The BUILDPOR™ trademark and the logos shown here belong to the same company.

You may view, print and forward this content in order to evaluate the products, citing the source. You may not reproduce it for commercial purposes, alter it, incorporate it into third-party material, or use the trademarks without prior written permission. If you need images or datasheets for a project, a tender document or a proposal, ask — the answer is usually yes, and we will send the appropriate version.

Specifications are indicative

The published dimensions, capacities, materials and other characteristics are there to help you choose a product and are not a contractual warranty. Products evolve, and a catalogue page may not immediately reflect a manufacturing change. What binds is what a quotation or order confirmation states.

The same applies to the downloadable PDF datasheets: they are supporting documentation, not a contractual specification. Before sizing a critical solution, confirm the figures with the sales team.

Nothing is sold through this site

You cannot order, reserve or pay for anything on this site. No prices are published. The form and the contact details are there to start a conversation: describe what you need and you will receive a reply by email, including, where applicable, a quotation with terms, lead times and prices. It is that quotation, and its acceptance, that creates obligations — not consulting this site. As an alternative to the form you can write directly to comercial@buildpor.pt.

Links to other sites

Some pages link outwards — the Iberpolymers group site, the LinkedIn profile, and on the contacts page a Google map that loads only if you expressly ask for it. We do not control those sites and are not answerable for their content or their own rules. Following such a link places you under the terms of whoever publishes it.

Privacy and cookies

How we handle the personal data you send us, which cookies the site uses and what rights you have are set out in the Privacy and cookies, a document separate from these terms which prevails over them in everything concerning personal data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. The courts of the Torres Vedras district have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to rules of jurisdiction that cannot be set aside by agreement.

Changes

These terms may be updated when the site changes or when the law requires it. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date and version number shown at the top. Substantive changes change the version number, so that a change is visible rather than something you would have to find by comparing texts.
